Pretty kitty with the mesmerizing eyes...

He was hanging around the outdoor eating area outside the convenience store, probably hoping for some leftovers or donated treats. He was skittish at first... but though we didn't have any food to give him, he relaxed and sat down as I talked gently to him for a bit.

I loved the way he was framed by the reed grass... it gave the scene a kind of serene Asian aire.
