Silent Sentinel
waiting and watching...
We didn’t see him at first… he was silently, stealthily hanging out under the dock at the Loxahatchee Reserve waterway.
With the alligator’s nose and eyes the only visible part of him above water, you don’t get a real idea as to how huge he really was.
When he moved out from under the dock and I was able to photograph him from above, I was shocked.
