It’s a photo taken by Keith, my love. He captured the moment Lola, our injured butterfly, left her perch on my finger and flew for the first time after I replaced her broken wings on her left side. I never thought that I could fix a butterfly’s wing, or even that it was possible.

I was nervous, unsure of my ability, afraid that I might hurt her… but the hope that I could do something to help this beautiful creature, whose wings were badly damaged at birth, gave me the strength I needed to put aside my doubts and move forward. And it was a success!

This was an incredible experience for me, one that taught me that you CAN achieve what you perceive as impossible.

My Wish For You is that you know the same.
